Zarmark Taobao Agent Shopping Service Review - Negative!!

So, I switched over to Pruany from Taobaospree a while back, and recently they refused to give me consultation for an item I wanted to buy, something about "we do not buy this product, irritates our employee", whatever. It's a long story, I have no idea what they were talking about. So I went on the hunt for a new service. I came across Zarmark. They have a streamlined system where all you have to do is copy/paste links into a webpage, which I liked. I placed my order, everything seemed to be going well. Once they received all my items, I decided to ask for pictures of a certain item I bought, to make sure it was correct. I asked for very specific colors and model types, and the colors were allllll wrong. Naturally I was a bit pissed, so I asked the purchaser about it.
"Seller say he cannot promise the color you want but he would try. Sent at random"
"And why didn't you tell me about this before you spent my money on it?"
"Is my mistake. What do you want us to do."
"I'd like a refund or a shipping credit."
"Ok. Please forgive."
"It's fine, just make sure to credit me."
So finally all my items arrive. I speak with a representative and say that I need my items as quickly as possible, so he quotes me for about $31 EMS and I pay immediately. Later that day, I get an email with my tracking number. It says RA_________. I'm thinking, RA? Is that... goddamnit, that's fucking Airmail isn't it?? I immediately respond asking about it.

"Sent airmail by mistake, will refund the difference."
"What part of 'I NEED THESE AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE' did you not really get?"
No response.

Just, extremely irresponsible and bad all around. I stopped to think about it, if I hadn't caught the mistake, would they have refunded me? Or would they just be sittin' pretty on that free money? I wouldn't recommend them to anyone, really. I'm still on the hunt for a decent service since Pruany decided to be a cock for no reason =/

*UPDATE* My package finally arrived, and surprise! More issues. I ordered 30 pcs of an item, 15 pics match what I wanted, the other 15 don't. I emailed them and basically said, "I only have 15 pcs of the item I wanted, I want a refund for the items that are wrong." And this is the response I get:

Dear

The item is out of stock, and jelly  [the agent] already tell you and change it into another item.
Do you forget it ?

I think you must be a Child, and I hope you could be a good girl if you can.

Do you think so ?

Have a nice day.

Karen

Can you believe that?? I am so flabbergasted and disgusted with that response I can barely articulate it. I want to blame the language barrier but, really? Calling me a child because you sent me the wrong item? Btw I was never told they were out of stock. I looked through every email and message archive of correspondence with Zarmark and not once did they mention this item being out of stock.

i.Fairy Ruby Red Circle Lens Review

Hi again! Since yesterday's post was just a quickie, here's a review of my Ruby Reds.

Interesting story with these. The first pair I ordered were TERRIBLY painful. My eyes were stinging and throbbing and it was the worst pain I have felt! I took them out immediately and contacted my seller. After sending him some pictures, he said that the supplier agreed to send me a brand new pair (yay). This is a review of the new pair. I decided to try leaving them in hot water (closed in their cases of course) a little trick I learned I soompi when there is sliding around/discomfort. So I popped the right lens in, felt great, no problems. Left lens? ASHGDKJASYUEB JESUS CHRIST. Horrible pain again! Not only would the lens disappear into the upper regions of my eye every time I closed it for longer than 3 seconds, the pain/irritation was STILL there! Because it just wouldn't sit still, I constantly had this fucking derpy look on my face. Horrible.

Here are the pics:

*~*~*

Comfort: 1/5 - Really disappointed with i.Fairy =/ They are my go-to company when I know I need a comfortable lens and they really failed me here. Twice! I'm not even going to ask for another pair.

Color/Design: 4/5 - The lenses are a lot brighter than what my pics indicate, and while the color is shocking at first, it's very interesting. I'd like to try some more red lenses in the future.

Enlargement: 5/5 - i.Fairy is always impressive in the enlargement department, no issues here.

So that was my Ruby Red experience. Honestly I've never seen anyone else complain about these, so it just must be my luck that I was sent two defective pairs. Would I recommend these? Well, I'm not sure. On one hand, the pair you receive may be fine, on the other you could end up with ones like I got... so I suppose if you see them somewhere for cheap and don't mind taking a gamble, it wouldn't hurt to try them out.

Sweets Deco Rings Nao Available on Fiverr ! o:

Hay guys! So, thanks to Regretsy, I decided to make a Fiverr gig.

What's Fiverr, you ask? Well basically it's kinda like etsy, but everything is $5 and pretty much completely anonymous. You can sell just about anything there, and it doesn't cost you anything! So I decided to crank out some simple decoden to sell on there. Here's what I ended up with!

I don't like the background, but it's all I have =[ My sister took my purple/green background and messed it up @_@ Anyway, here's the link to the gig if anyone is interested!

DecoDen / Sweets Lolita Accessories

So I started to become really interested in sweets deco a while back. It's like the world's cutest hobby! However, I definitely was not prepared for how difficult it can be at first ;~; I made a mirror that was supposed to be strawberry themed, laid out the frosting all neat and circular, and then I realized I only had one cabochon that would match with the theme. So I just kind of stuck it in the middle and laid flatback beads around it, and some sprinkles. And then I decided to try that whole "puff paint melty sauce" thing that I see so much. Man, that turned out horrible, because I did it after I had already put all the icing on. So at this point I'm just like, "fuck it" and I let it dry. It's so sad looking =[ I suppose it was a good learning experience because now I know that I need to have the layout planned out before I start frosting things. The only thing is, when I try to plan things out, I have a hard time... arranging things in a manner that would be aesthetically pleasing, as stupid as that sounds. I know there is a certain... method to it, I just need to figure out one that would work for me. I suppose I just need more practice.

Anyway, I made some things that turned out not to be a disaster, thank goodness!

My camera has the worst shake protection ever. If you move a cm the whole pic is blurred to hell =|

This picture came out a lot better :3

And no, I will never ever ever take a picture of my strawberry disaster mirror D: One day when I have a proper setup for deco and lots of practice I will make a mirror and it will be glorious!

I put them up on ebay at a starting bid of $7 shipped but there were no takers =[ I'm not sure if I want to make an etsy, there are sooooo many deco artists there, and so many of them are so much better than I am! I think I will probably put them up on my weebly to see if anyone is interested. I tried the whole Artfire thing and while it's free, it gets basically no traffic, so your stuff just sits there on display =/

I change hobbies a lot, don't I? <_<

Super Barbie Lace & Melon Review / Ying Lens House / Beautiful Eyes

It's that time again!

So these were among the very first circle lenses I ever bought, and I never got around to reviewing them so I figured I should probably get on that. I actually don't have any pictures because I had to throw them both away =/ (More on that in a bit!)

Super Barbie Lace Brown

This is the lens I got stuck with because Beautiful Eyes on facebook scammed/screwed me over. I tried for a few months to sell them but I had no luck, especially considering they were prescription. I decided to just try them on for the hell of it, despite the fact that things with my Melon lenses didn't work out.

*~*~*

Comfort: 2/5 - While they didn't make me want to rip my eyes out, these are very uncomfortable. As soon as I put them in I could feel them all over my eyes and they slid around constantly ( I suspect this has something to do with my base curve, 8.3). I couldn't wear them for longer than a few minutes. Trashed them immediately without realizing people would probably want to see pics of them D:

Color/Design: 3/5 - If you want a lace pattern, buy the Japan Barbie Eye Lace/Princess Lace instead. The lace pattern on this is just... I dunno, there's something off about it. It's kind of... sloppy. And the brown color is more of a gold. The lens just made my eyes look odd in general.

Enlargement: 4/5 - Not bad. Not big and dramatic like my i.Fairys, but still noticeable by others. I would guess that the real diameter is something like 14.7 or 14.8.

Next up,

Super Barbie Melon Brown

I bought these from Ying Lens House on facebook, and she's such a sweetheart and offers AMAZING service! Unlike the Cunty McCunterson that runs Beautiful Eyes, she will actually refund you when she makes a mistake about something being in stock. I had just had that horrible experience a few days earlier and went straight to her and when I found out I already paid her for something that turned up to be out of stock I panicked. >_< But she was SO NICE about it, despite the fact that I may have been a little mean. Of course I apologized and promised to promote her to the ends of the earth! I really wish I could wear Super Barbies because her prices are AMAZING, unfortunately I can't so I'll have to admire her business from afar. ;~; On to the review!

*~*~*

Comfort: 2.7/5 - I actually really liked these lenses, which is why it pains me to say this. They are just not very comfortable at all. This was my very first pair, and I thought that it was normal to experience them slowly migrating in my eyes throughout the day. They aren't as painful as the Lace lenses but I could still feel them in my eyes. On top of that they popped out constantly, it was a huge annoyance. In the end I had to toss them (again, this is before I considered the possibility of doing reviews of them @____@)

Color/Design: 5/5 - For a while I debated on whether or not to get the black ones, and I am glad I decided on the brown. It's a very dark, natural ring of brown, and in certain lighting can look black! Great natural brown lens.

Enlargement: 4/5 - These are pretty big, noticeable enlargement. The coloring is printed pretty close to the edge. Again, the real diameter is probably 14.7/14.8mm.

So these were my first and last Super Barbie lenses! Would I recommend them? Well, if your base curve is closer to the standard 8.6, and you can deal with them popping out, then yea. They are a decent "budget" lens, just didn't work for me.

i.Fairy Super Crystal Brown and Lili's Lens House Review

I put up a review of the i.Fairy Crystal Browns on youtubez.

I'm not a very elegant speaker so I think next time I will just use pictures and annotations <_<

Something I didn't mention in my review is that I decided to measure the lens to double check the diameter, because there seems to be confusion as to what the real diameter is. The entire lens, including the clear area, is like... 15.8mm. Measuring the color only, it's about 15.5mm.

I stupidly forgot to take a picture >: I'll take one soon and add it.

*Edit*

Here are the pics!

I seem to have made a mistake when I read it initially. They are actually 15mm on the dot. But they look so much bigger @__@

Anyway, here's the review :D

i.Fairy Eclipse Circle Lens Review *Updated*

Got my lenses! :D

Yay, my very first pair. I wanted a color that would be dark and subtle, so I went with the i.Fairy Eclipse Green. Please forgive the bad pictures, I took these in my bathroom at night. I'll add some daylight pictures tomorrow. ^-^

Here's the promo picture:
How do all these models manage to look so cute with the camera so close to them! I must learn their secrets <_<

Here's what my eye looks like:
So the lighting on these isn't great, as I took these in my bathroom, like I said earlier. Also, I apologize for my awful, end-of-the-day cakey makeup. D: However, this is just about as green as they look irl, I'm not sure how much effect changing the lighting would have. :x

*Edit* Moar pics!

In direct sunlight:

With flash:

Here's a comparison photo:

Jesus Christ! Dramatic, isn't it? It's weird because when I have them both in I don't think I look much different at all. But comparing it like this really emphasizes it! I was worried about buying circle lenses because my eyes are already really big, and I wanted them to be really, over the top big. But as I searched I found a lot of them came in the diameter that my regular lenses are @_@. Thank goodness I found these, they are magical!

* ~ * ~ *

Comfort: 4/5 - I heard all the GEO horror stories about how painful they are and I was terrified that these would be the same way. Nope, not at all =]. Can't even feel them!! *Edit* I gave these an extended test run today, I wore them at work for about five hours, got home, took them out for two hours and put them back in to wear out. I will say that I got a  bit of a headache, but I can't say it's 100% because of the lenses. My job involves me listening to extremely loud music constantly, and I also went to a show where there was more loud music. At this point I wouldn't recommend wearing them for more than five hours, just to be safe. Oh, and this might sound really gross but I am going to mention it: I seem to accumulate more sleep in my eyes than I normally do throughout the day. Huh... <_<

Color/Design: 5/5 - This is exactly what I was looking for. Gonna be honest, though, if you want a bright, vibrant color, Eclipse is not for you. But if you want a really subtle, dark color then these are great.

Enlargement: 5/5 - These definitely get the job done, as you can see. However, I like that it's still very subtle, even when it comes to enlargement. Definitely not fake looking at all.

See my previous post for why I am not recommending that you buy these where I did. <_<

Circle Lens NIGHTMARE D: - Beautiful Eyes Facebook Shop Review - NEGATIVE

Alright, so this is sort of a warning post.

I ordered two pairs of lenses from Beautiful Eyes on facebook. The girl confirmed that they were both in stock. I paid. She emails me a few days later, "Lol, boss says we don't have one of the colors you wanted [Barbie Eye Lace Chocolate], hopefully she hasn't sent your replacement already. If she hasn't then I can refund you." I'm thinking okay, awesome. Your boss just took the liberty of changing my order without my consent. She emails me and says no, her boss hasn't sent it yet, but that I cannot be refunded because that is their policy.

Excuse me?

You're not going to refund me for an item you lied about having in stock? "No. Sorry." Wow, great. I stupidly STUPIDLY sent her payment as a gift, so paypal wouldn't help me. Contacting my bank would have taken too much time. All I wanted was a refund for a lens that she didn't have in stock, was I being difficult with such a request?

After about a week of arguing with her, I said, "You know what, fuck it. Send me the other color, I'll sell them." They've been shipped, tracking provided. She also blocked me from the Facebook group. Herp derp, u sure got me.

So I see another seller on facebook doing a pre-order. I'm like, awesome, it's ending in a few days, and because it's a pre-order it's coming from the factory, so no out of stock problems. Right?

Wrong. =[

"We don't have the color you wanted."
"What are you talking about, this is a pre-order, isn't it coming from the factory?"
"No, we just order lens in bulk, the lens are already here, it's quicker that way."
"So in other words, it's not a freaking pre-order, is it?"
". . ."
"Well then forget it I would please like my money back."
"No refunds for any reason."

Luckily I didn't send the money as a gift, and I just opened the dispute. I wasn't sure what to put my reason as, since I technically haven't had the stuff shipped yet. I mean, it's entirely within my rights to have my money back if items I paid for are not as advertised and not even in stock, I would think.

Anyway, this whole ordeal is just a nightmare! Once I receive my Beautiful Eyes lenses (they are i.Fairy Eclipse Green) I will do a Youtube review of them, and their shop. Hope they like it >:]

Oh, also she has another account that she uses to sell that you may want to steer clear of.

Anyone wanna buy some circle lens from me? x]
